Shojo Manga of the romance variety

2 papers done, and 3 more to go. I dont think they'll go well if today was any indication. I was gettin dizzy, severe weakness ( could barely walk!) and had to kept poking myself with my pencil in the neck to stay away. Atleast I didnt get nauseous which sucks more than weakness!

Tanabata came and went and it rained! *headdesk* I hoped for clear skies but nope. Its been raining and raining and raining. Love monsoon and the humidity that comes with it. ><

I have discovered shojo manga. Of the romance and smut variety! *big grin* Ive been reading loads but i'm now officially a HUGE ASS fan of Minami Kanan, gnaaah~! Shes TOO good! My two most favorite mangakans, Kaori Yuki and Minami Kanan! :D Minami-sensei's bishies are too freaking hot to handle! When I saw saw Kai Renge I was doing a fairly decent impersonation of a fish outta water and I just cannot describe the noises that came outta my mouth. But they were something similar to "gwaaa~! uwaaah~!" etc etc. XD

I would HIGHLY recommend reading Mitsu x Mitsu Drops/ Honey x Honey Drops which is romance, shojo, smut and sports. Basket ball to be precise. Its being scanlated by condensation.us (I love you guys!) and I cant wait for chapter 9 translations *arms flailing*. Also Ren Ai Shijo Shugi, Kyou Koi wa Hajimemasu, Shiiku Hime, Rhapsody in Heaven (Suzuki Aoi and Miyu! Good grief! I feel like coloring them in the same color palette of Zero and Yuuki Oo), S.P.Y, Black Bird, Desire Climax, Gekka no Kimi, Kimi Ni Furetara, Lovenista, Lovey Dovey and Bokku Ni Nata Watashi.

I would highly recommend each of those mangas. I've even got the raws for Honey x Honey Drops (eeeii~!) and this is the level of my insanity. I was sitting in class, with my paper in front of me....I close my eyes and im seeing manga panels in front of my eyes! *facepalm* I can see Kai, Yuzuru, Chihaya *headdesk* My brain went broke on me XD

Can y' recommend me some other romance genre shojo manga? Preferably something in high school....I wont even mind gender bender as long as the romance is nice and sweet :D Drama, always welcome. Else I wouldnt like Desire Climax then would i? XD

I'm not sure what you've read, but I recently finished Hot Gimmick a few weekends ago and that's a quite dramatic read. (I used to read summaries of it back when it was still on-going, but those dried up and scanlations weren't around like they are now.) Lots of family issues and plenty of focus switching between the three main guys. There's only about 50 chapters, so it's an easy read. It's not like rec-ing Hana Yori Dango and all its 235 chapters.

I'm honestly not very up to date in current manga series like I was a good 7 years ago. So if you want anything a little older...

Ah yes *headslap* I did download the first three volumes of Hot Gimmick and while im not sold on it, it is interesting! :D

I dunno about the "smut" end of things, but Kare Kano is one of the best high-school romances I've read in a while, and Dramacon is an absolute must-read OEL for any shojo fan.

Kare-Kano...yes! I think I have that with me and ive read its first 6 vols! The girl she pretends to be perfect but is actually far from it? Hooks up with a guy whose been adopted by his uncle?

Dramacon? Ho-ho! I shall go find it!
