That's really easy because there's only one scene which has made me cry harder than I have EVER cried. And that's kinda saying something given how much I cried when Angel left Buffy after Graduation Day and then 'I will remember you' in Angel Season 01 ;_; But anyways, its Tomoya & Nagisa, Clannad After Story. Nagisa's death.
The first time I watched it...I was sitting in my seat holding my breath, totally expecting the worse (which was hinted in the previous eps, especially the bittersweet promise the two make to visit the beach) and then Ushio is born and im thinking "She did it! She did it! Oh thank God!" and then Tomoya's beautiful and heart warming talk on what they'll do but then Nagisa's hand falls out from his and he calls out to her, putting up to Ushio's cheek and then his narration...oh God that narration...
"Nagisa....you promised that you'd always stay by my side didn't you? That we'd always be together. We promised that many times over didn't we? That was my dream..."There's nothing good even if I lived...Its a boring life" I was a guy who used to think like that and I finally found this dream...hey...Nagisa....NAGISA!"
And her face, their memories are coming up one by one as he's thinking that before he cries out her name and we see more of their times together before we come to the first time they met. And he recalls her words. "Kono gakou wa...suki desu ka? Watashi wa touteimou touteimou suki desu. Demo nani mou kamou, kawarazima iirarei nai desu. Tanoushi kototoka, Ureishi kototoka, zenbun kawarazima iirareinai desu. Sorei demou, kono bashou ga suki dei arei masuka?"
But then she walks away instead of going to school and passes Tomoya as he almost calls out to her but then he thinks "If only we hadn't met...if only we had taken different paths..if i hadn't met her, we wouldn't have dated, we wouldnt have gotten married, then Ushio wouldn't have been born...and i wouldnt be going through this pain" and he covers his mouth for a moment before lowering it and he simply thinks "It would have better if we had never met"
*wails and weeps* NAGISA!!! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa *reaches for the tissues* I cant NOT think of this scene and not tear up. Its heart breaking! If you dont tear up while watching this then you..you..you have no soul! Poor Tomoya....poor Ushio...and lets not even GO towards episode 18 when Ushio and Tomoya finally have a heart to heart. WAAAAAAAAAAAAH USHIO! And then and then Ushio's death...WUUUUUUU *full out weeps*
