Torn...oh SO torn...I've got three contenders for that title and each of them are awesome in their own way. But I'll go with the one that made my heart go doki-doki in a right proper manner and it still does. Kagetora x Beni (Shinobi Life, Chapter 19, Volume 04 - Chapter 20, Volume 05)
Oh lordy I remember reading this chapter the first time around and this part all but had me swoon in delight. I mean, the two of them are in a changing room and she teases/tickles him and he pushes her against the door by asking her if she thinks that he won't do anything. She says that its more like "WILL he do anything...is what I AM thinking" while she leans against his chest. And he pushes her back into the door saying thats why he warned her not to say stuff like that. And then they proceed with the smoochies~~ *turns red and plops over* Too bad the store clerk came and interrupted them (DANG IT) else this was one of the sweetest and hottest kisses ever that ive read in a manga. The way she describes it and when you try to imagine it......*melts with a happy purr* So delish
From the same manga, I ADORE ADORE ADORE the make-up kisses they share at the end of Volume 03. I mean come on "Kagetora, tightly locked my lips to the point of melting". I think the Translators note pretty much sums it all up by saying "Oh my!" XD And then he kisses her again and again cause he just want her (and himself) to forget that the other guy kissed her too. (I seriously hope he dies or something...)
The other two contenders for first place were Ren and Kyouko (Skip Beat, Chapter 149) & Ryuuji and Taiga (Toradora, Ep 25)

Date: 2010-08-16 07:29 pm (UTC)I just wish the series were scanlated more regularly. Kagetora is both seriously cute (I love early in the series when he freaks out when he can see Beni's thong) and seriously hot. Little Kagetora, too.
